You looked ahead and saw two paths. One leading into brightness and one leading into darkness. You decided to take the path that led to brightness since it looked so promising. Twenty years, as you stared from your patio, into the sunset, you flashed back to that choice. No matter how beautiful the sunset is, it can't cover the darkness that laid behind the sunshine. It didn't hide how little you sacrificed for something that can't be compared to the greatness the darkness was holding.  To that day, that regret still haunts you to that day. You look around and saw its imprints, taunting you. You could have given up everything you wanted for something so much better. It is true that you will live with regrets, but you can still choose to have little to no regrets if you put your mind to it. When you look back, you'll be more satisfied when you take risks and chances than the safer way. Life starts when you get out of your comfort zone. Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
