Truth Is The Only Safe Ground To Stand Upon 

Walking home, you played back that moment. The moment when you were faced with the decision: To lie or not to lie. Your heart began to beat faster and louder. Your palms starts to sweat. You open your mouth to speak. You spoke to hide the truth. Now just in the doorway, guilt starts to eat you up. Regret would later follow afterwards. If you would have spoken the truth, you would be spare of pain, betrayal, doubt, and guilt itself. Even though it seems like lying might the best thing to spare you the moment of rage, the truth is better. If you hid the truth, it will come out of the closet eventually. Truth is the only safe ground to stand upon.
